it would be nice to have it so if ya have reged someone with out a password that when they login if they have got a password saved in their favs then that password would be used for their login

Sounds like a very userfriendly option, but it's a security risk as well...

maybe doing it the verli style would be better, allow to reg without password and user can set the pass on first login, after that user gets his/hers proper profile rights?

Yeah is possible.

Two options to make it a bit more secure:
- a timelimit for setting pass, for example if the user hasn't joined within 24 hours, account will be deleted. To prevent accounts without password remaining open for anyone to join.
- binding a first connection to an IP

Imho binding IP in this case would cause lots of problems to users. Especially if they don't know much about DC yet, for higher profiles it would work ok. Some ISPs are rotating IPs a lot, maybe profile can be bind to something else that is more stable like CID etc?

Hello, in my opinion it is safer as it is now ... I do not think it would be safe to implement or change the system ... better not to risk short ...
For those unfamiliar user would definitely help a great many other problems but I would say no ...
In my opinion, the game is not worth the words: D or not ? xD

the only reason i was asking as i have a hub what is reg only and i dont know all the users password so will take ages to get them all reged agen

Also there can be a setting in !set so hubowner can decide if registering users is happening with or without passwords.
