The future of flexhub...

Hi, good Wednesday.
I wanted to ask you what will be the future of flexhub regarding the management of many users. Beyond the fact that we know and understand the day as they run and that we live them, and do not have a crystal ball to see the future. I wanted to wonder if the intention or not to develop software to store user and more than the 1500/2000. My question is aimed to find out if flexhub verlihub will compete with other words or less. Just to assess whether or not to continue along the road or if you switch back to verlihub. This is to evaluate whether it is worth to wait or if it just was not the idea or the will to do so or if the software does not allow it ... beyond the fact that it was created to latria reasons, I just want to understand this ... I hope I was clear.

flexhub is a great software, it would be a shame not to think big ... if you have not optimized to withstand at least 5000 user does not make sense in my opinion, unless of course there is the idea of ​​doing it from home use only ... ynhub such as ... or other old software ...
These are just my thoughts only to urge you to think big and to never stop ... toward continuous improvement in short;-) I think it's clear, but I write it, that I write these things ... because I believe;-)

FlexHub has been designed for maximum control and maximum flexibility. It's a Lua based hubsoft, therefore will never be as efficient or fast as Ynhub, Verli, Ptokax, Aquila and will probably never match the usercounts those hubsofts can take. We've simply hit the current performance-ceiling with the current FlexHub structure.

We never intended to beat or match those hubsofts in usercount, instead we've created a different hubsoft with a lot of built-in features, supporting two protocols and a lot of good stuff still to come. We might be able to do a rewrite someday that increases the max usercount, but it doesn't have any priority at the moment and I can't say what the 'final' max usercount will be. Aim was to support about 1000-1500 users on a fairly decent system and that is working. For higher usercounts please use another hubsoft.

By the way: the statement that 'if you have not optimized to withstand at least 5000 user does not make sense' is bullshit in my opinion since there are only about 10-20 hubs worldwide that hold that many users at the moment.

FlexHub simply never aimed to be a hubsoft for that many users, it wouldn't have been written in Lua if it was.

Different softwares have different goals.
FlexHub is a hubsoft that is powerful, flexible and customizable. It can run on both windows and linux. Right now its more complicated to setup then I had wished for but I think we will fix that in time.

Extreme usercounts is not one of the goals, but I think that we have not seen yet what FlexHub's limits are. It's just too soon to tell. At the moment I am still very grateful that we did find out the reason it was crashing and that it was possible to fix that without loosing any performance.
