would be possible to do so when a user enters hub in hidden mode not receive the incoming message in main chat visible to all users ?

not much sense in my opinion be hidden if it is then seen when you enter the hub ...

nb. switch in automatic
hidemode on = welcome messagge on entry: off  
hidemode off = welcome messagge on entry: on
