Would be great to have a command or search that shows the most recently added files, for both an individual user, or for all users online.

This is something that is impossible to be done by Flex itself. Hubsoft doesn't check shared files - so is not aware if anything has been added or removed from share. If you would like to see new files in share then Gbot is the way to do it at the moment (but users have to add their new files to the list using a command). And when API is ready, that will be a script request.
