Hi Phoenix

Those messages are normal and nothing to worry about, unless of course they occur too much.

The first post with nick in use looks normal as well, I guess your hub is receiving redirects from somewhere and thats why some users looks like they are double connecting a lot.

Hand shake timeouts is just net lag or something like that, and again, unless it happens a lot its nothing to worry about

Ok thx Endator. Now i know i little more about the connection and ther is always a delay about the connection and not as fast as Verlihub mysql but that is normal and i understand it. if i wand more randement of fare low ping users, maybe i must have a host with a low ping ( 2 Ms) but that is very expancive. I also can install Flexhub with Slackware who has a better optimal network connection as debian and with this methode more contact to the internet.

For the rest it is great soft and the conn socket error is gone. The error was to little myinfo !set security MN a playing and setting is to 200 instead of 256..

The basing settings are good but it is possible to make the hub a litte upload lighter and faster and the connection is then more optimized .. ;) ;)

it should not take (much) longer to login to a FlexHub than it does to any other hub. When compared to other nmdc hubs it might be a little slower due to that it is not written in c or c++ like most others, and that to protect the hub we might do more checks during the login process than some other softs.

When compared to other adc hubsofts FlexHub is in some cases quite a lot faster, and should at least not be noticeable slower than any other hub soft.

And I dont think the underlying OS matters much unless you have lots of users, below 1k users I doubt there will be any difference at all.

the user has not correctly set up ports and because of this its missing from the ctm request. The user wont be able to connect to anyone until this is corrected.

Ohh i forgot to ask how is it to do with adc ? are there working hublist or is ther a possibility to get more users on the hub with the adc protocol ? I have put it on on the hub but it`s all zero ..  :o

on the topic of hublists, there are "working" ones out there, not many but a few.

But in general I'd say - if you want your users to benefit it is better if as many as possible are on the same protocol as it is not possible to download across protocols.
For chatting, both main and pm, its no problem, but search and dl only works with users on the same protocol.

I want to write about this error:
Quote
2013/04/15 12:10:13    IP: 92.83.196.188 <widi>    Reason: Nick <widi> in use      (1 times)
   2013/04/15 12:21:22    IP: 49.128.163.153 <deep>    Reason: Nick <deep> in use      (1 times)
   2013/04/15 12:28:51    IP: 1.186.16.152 <patrick>    Reason: Nick <patrick> in use      (1 times)
   2013/04/15 12:38:31    IP: 85.81.67.218 <FORFIR>    Reason: Nick <FORFIR> in use      (6 times)

I think that this is not the fault of the FlexHub. I encountered such a error - it was a bug client zk++.
User has turned off a client but nick of this user was in the userlist for some time.
Perhaps this is a bug of old clients.
- I'm sorry for my terrible english...
