I'll add the answer perhaps not related to this topic.
In Linux systems, all ports from 1 to 1024 are opened only through root, is why run the hub on these ports only need to use the command: sudo ./lua ./FlexHub.lua

FlexHub can be run on Linux x86 or x86+x64.
On linux x64 can not run...

At the moment, there is already a similar request, but it has a very low priority.
There are more important things now.

We have longterm plans to move Flex from LuaAIO to LuaJIT, that would make it possible to run it on native x64 operating systems too.
But that's really longterm, it requires a lot of rewriting, so don't hold your breath.

There seems to be a way to run Flex on x64 though, with installation of only a few x86 libs. I'll try to get a short tutorial on the forum here on how to do that.

I will be grateful for such a tutorial, because I would like to already to start under x64.
