Can someone please tell me what the below means and how its caused.

" was disconnected because: Malformed $ValidateNick received in state: 3: $ValidateNick  "

The nickname that should follow after $ValidateNick is missing.

Correct usage: $ValidateNick MyNickHere|

It's possible that this is caused by a nickname with characters that can't be converted to the hubs character set, Chinese or Arabian characters for example in a hub that uses ASCII/ANSI characters.
