Flip flop, any solution for this one?

Dear Flip Flop,

Here some more info >>

  [10/14/2015 21:03:37] FlexHub installed succesfully.
  Using /volume1/flexhub for settings and logs storage.

  Installation parameters:
  Hubowner loginname=*******
  Hubowner password=*******
  Port(s)=411

  You can now connect to your hub with a DC client (like ApexDC++).
  To connect using that client, use your NAS IP and the port of the hub.
  For example: dchub://192.168.0.123:411

  Note >> The install first could not be done, because of the Trust Level setting for package installation.
  Setting this to allow installation of any publisher would allow me to install.

  I think the same issue is causing the software not to want to run. I can press the start button, but the status does not change and it stays "stopped".

  I am assuming DSM 6.0 is more strickt in what you are allowed to run and what not.

  There are currently 2 certificates installed via the package centre, one from synology inc. and one from synocommunity. You are allowed to import a new
  certificate which from what I can see has a Key Length of 2048 and uses the RSA algorithm.

  Does this makes sense Flip Flop?

  Here is debug extract:

Can you check the content of the following files in the shared folder 'flexhub' :

Debug.log
Error.log
Feed.log

and post the relevant results?

Help / Support / Synology DSM 6.0 Beta - Flexhub 0.2 svn 1469 fails to start
« Last post by Propaganda on October 14, 2015, 15:09:29 »
Dear Flip Flop,

After updating my synology 1812+ to the beta DSM 6.0, Flexhub is the only package that is not willing to start.
Re-installed the package, and it installs fine. But when you want to run the package it stays in the stopped mode.
Before this was running DMS 5.2 and there were no issues. Now with the 6.0 DSM, Flexhub is the only package that
fails on my NAS.

Any idea what I should be checking to get it running again.
Would hate to go back to Ptokax or similar.

Thanks

Frank

Help / Support / Improve debian connecion vps ;)
« Last post by Phoenix on September 27, 2015, 15:11:06 »
When you vps conn is little to slow there is someting to tweak the connection, good for more (bad connecting) users..

open a shell as root and adit these lines on the bottum..

nano /etc/sysctl.conf

# Improve Internet connections by Phoenix tweak ;)
net.core.rmem_default = 556960
net.core.rmem_max = 556960
net.core.wmem_default = 556960
net.core.wmem_max = 556960
net.ipv4.tcp_timestamps = 0
net.ipv4.tcp_sack = 1
net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling = 1

Use ‘sysctl -p’ to apply the changes in this file to your running Linux instance
then do /etc/init.d/networking restart and enyoy ;)

Feature requests / Re: Chatroom overrides
« Last post by FlipFlop™ on September 25, 2015, 12:55:28 »
That probably only works if you shutdown the hubsoft first, then modify the file, and then restart.

But the idea behind chatrooms is that they are personal messages for multiple persons. So the messages are considered PM and only invited people can see them. If you want control over private chatrooms you could disable creation of private chatrooms for other profiles, and only make them yourself.
