Hi endator..
I see an example but it is for the lan ethernet card. This means when you downloading a p2p program then the unwanted checkkers wil be blocked to the lan. This is incoming traffic. it´s the opposite of out going trafffic.
Example ..
if the flexhub running on port 411 (or 4111) and the driving lan is protected bij ip tabels firewall or all ip `s for the unwanted checkers it doesn`t matter for the results when the unwanted user connect the hub, because if only 411 (or 4111) go outside everyone can connect to the hub. It does not effectly to the outsite adress (flexhub.org)..
i thik it has only effect when the banlist or droplist in the hub has the same ip`s as the blacklist in (example /etc/pgl/blocklists.list).
Ofcause when you use the iprange in the lan the apexdc is protected from brein spyion unwanted users whe gives many gigabits share to look who download it and (maybe) report ip and doing bad things whit it..
So the lan is for incomming and the blacklist in the hub is for outgoing trafiv user.
The reason is there is an user PeterRdeV (
- User: PeterRdeV ][ IP: 83.81.254.159 ][ CC: NL ][ Host: 5351FE9F.cm-6-2d.dynamic.ziggo.nl ) on dc in diffrent hub`s with 97 gb share and i think he checks the hub and report it. I know he works with brein and it is not the first time
when the owner from the hub get a warning from the provider to run a hub.
A week ago was the pirate bay here on ned 3 dutch television so the hidden message is that`s the media more looking to p2p and i read also that Peter was visit a congres in den haag (holland) an internet security congres so some thinks are correct.
We must be carefule about it i think..
