You have to be more specific about your question. It is a client that is used for sharing.

Just to be clear, FluxHub is a server for other DC Clients to connect and download from right? IF it is, how do I tell it what I want it to share? I can connect to my FlexHub but it has nothing available and am not to sure how to config it.

Hi Sideh,

The hub doesn't share files itself. The clients (users) who connect to the hub can share files with the other clients who are connected to the hub. The hub is just in the middle to enable the clients to communicate with eachother.

So you determine what you want to share in your DC client (like ApexDC++, DC++ etc), not in FlexHub.

Hope that explains it a bit, more info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_Connect_%28protocol%29

Yeah that did answer my question, Is this a feature that may come? When I go to LANs I want to be able to connect my Synology NAS to a DC++ server and share what is on it that way. From what I understood ages ago about this project I assumed it would do this, my fault and apologies for the confusion!

Sharing by the hub itself is not planned.
The principle of Direct Connect is that the hub connects all the users, and the users can then make direct connections to each other for file sharing. The hub doesn't share any files itself, the users share the files.

So you can take your NAS with FlexHub on it to a LAN party, and all the users on the LAN can then use their DC client to connect to the FlexHub on your NAS and share files with each other.

But.. ofcourse you can use your own DC client to share files that are located somewhere on the NAS. As soon as you connect to the hub those files can be shared with the other users connected to the hub then.
